As a photographer, I often receive inquiries from clients regarding their bookings, pricing or the process of booking an appointment. Is this an enclosed photo booth?
Popup Studio is an open setup with a backdrop and studio lighting, run by two of us. You get real portraits with someone directing the shot, not a curtained box.
How do we get the photos afterward?
Photos will be uploaded within 72 hours onto a premade gallery which guests will be able to download. The gallery will stay up for 3 months after the event to give enough time for guests to get their photos.
Can the pop-up be used outdoors?
The pop can absolutely be used outdoors, weather permitting. We can also offer a set up with a canopy if the weather is looking bleak or a little too hot.
How many people can be in a photo at once?
As many as fit in frame! Solo shots, couples, full friend groups. There's no strip-style size limit like a traditional photobooth.
How long does each photo take?
Usually under a minute per guest or group once the queue is moving, though bigger groups take a little longer to arrange. Guests are encouraged to take as many photos as they like! We don't put a limit on the amount of photos.
Do guests get physical prints?
Not by default. Physical prints are an add-on, but all photos go into a digital gallery which guests can access and download to print on their own accord.
Can we choose the backdrop?
Yes, we have a bunch of options available and higher tiers include the option to swap backdrops partway through.
What space do you need?
Roughly a 3x3m area with power access nearby. We'll confirm exact space and power needs once we know your venue.
